Christmas Parties at The HAC

Every year the HAC transforms into a fabulous winter wonderland. The Armoury House and Prince Consort Rooms are decorated with a special theme each festive season to create a fully immersive experience for you and your guests. We have seven beautiful party spaces all with unique character and charm. Amongst the most popular rooms for hire is the Long Room which can accommodate up to 250 guests for a drinks reception and 160 for a round table dinner.

If you're looking for a more intimate Christmas party, the Queens Room, located on the ground floor, can host up to 40 for dinner. Our largest blank canvas space, the Prince Consort Rooms, has a party capacity of 700 and benefits from a private entrance and courtyard.

City of London Location

Situated in the heart of the City of London, our Georgian manor house is just a few minutes' walk from Moorgate and Old Street tube stations. A great location that will give your guests an easy journey home after the festive celebrations.

The Grade II listed building benefits from being set back from the busy City Road so you can be fully transported into festive bliss during the event.

Christmas Party Themes

The HAC is renowned for its amazing theming and in previous years has transformed its spaces into a Winter Wonderland, the decadent Roaring ‘20s, Victorian Circus, and the land of Narnia (complete with an entrance through a wardrobe!). The themes for our 2023 Christmas party packages are as follows.

The Nutcracker

Transport your guests to the land of The Nutcracker this Christmas. Explore the Land of the Sweets and the Land of the Snowflakes before you move to the Long Room with its stunning red walls and wood paneling that will create the perfect atmosphere for your Christmas party.

Masquerade at the HAC

Enjoy the mystery and intrigue of our Winter Masquerade. This Christmas, step into a mesmerizing space adorned with exquisite chandeliers, graceful drapery, and enchanting winter decorations. The room awaits, ready to immerse your guests in an elegant ambiance that is certain to leave a lasting impression.

Searcys Christmas Party Catering

Food and drink are a huge part of any Christmas gathering and our caterer, Searcys, takes great time and effort in putting together its Christmas menus. Whatever the occasion and whatever time of year, our in-house chefs source their ingredients as locally as possible from ethically-minded suppliers. Creating menus based on seasonal produce not only keeps their food miles to a minimum but also means each ingredient is at its tastiest when it’s served.
